Williamsburg Flooring & Design is a family-owned and operated business founded by Dwayne and Kristi Hall. With a passion for flooring and design, the couple has dedicated their lives to providing exceptional service and high-quality flooring solutions to their clients.
The Founding of Williamsburg Flooring & Design
Dwayne Hall grew up in the world of flooring, learning the value of hard work, dedication, and quality craftsmanship from his father who owned a flooring company in Smithfield. After attending Isle of Wight Academy and Christopher Newport University, he decided to install floors full-time, working for his father and eventually starting his own business specializing in all flooring types.
Born in southern Illinois, Kristi and her family relocated to Kiln Creek in Yorktown. After graduating from Grafton High School and earning her BS from Old Dominion University, she began her career with an energy company. However, her passion for interior design and business ownership remained strong.
In 2011, Kristi met Dwayne, and the two soon became a powerhouse team in the flooring business. After taking over the accounting for Dwayne’s business, the couple established Williamsburg Flooring & Design in 2015. In 2017, Kristi officially retired from the energy company to focus solely on their shared venture.
